In 2000, he received a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York, and in 2013 he was nominated for the Prêmio PIPA. As defined by the artist, Homens-palito e bolhas (2025) is “a spontaneous drawing made with pleasure.” His ink-on-paper works function as laboratories of ideas, recording the dynamics of his imagination.
