Pablo Accinelli (1983) has been part of Actividad de uso since 2006, a collection dedicated to books about Argentinian artists. Their exhibitions include What are you thinking? (Portikus, Frankfurt, 2025); Destino común (Sala Gabriela Sabatini, Buenos Aires, 2025); O canto dos sapos (Galeria Luisa Strina, São Paulo, 2023); Concretos (Musac, León, 2023); Nubes de paso (Malba, Buenos Aires, 2018); Por aqui tudo é novo (Instituto Inhotim, Brumadinho, 2016); Future Light: Escaping Transparency (Vienna Biennale, 2015); Extension du domaine du jeu (Centre Pompidou, Paris, 2015); When Attitudes Became Form Become Attitudes (MOCAD, Detroit, 2013); and A Iminência das Poéticas (30ª Bienal de São Paulo, 2012).
Internal Duration (2025) is a new drawing by Accinelli, made in pen on paper. In it, several paper clips come together occupying the entire surface. It is common in their work to start from ordinary and functional elements, such as paper clips, broom handles, keys, and padlocks, shifting them from their common use. Often, these objects seem to be waiting for something or someone, evoking situations of suspension, silent presence, and expectation.
