Mushrooms and Rainbow (2025), from the Cogumelos series, stems from the artist’s attentive observation of her surroundings and her sense of wonder at each element of nature—even the simplest and easiest to find. The scene depicted in the painting has a dreamlike tone, and both the mushroom and the rainbow evoke a sense of curiosity often associated with childhood—a time of constant discovery, experienced as small miracles.
