Gabriel Branco (1997) uses abstract painting as a complement to his photographic practice, exploring sensations and atmospheres related to life in the peripheries. His works feature intense colors and free forms, reflecting the rhythm and energy of these spaces. For him, abstraction allows the expression of what is unseen—such as memories, emotions, and lived experiences—creating a sensory dialogue with urban reality.

Untitled (2025) is a work about light and depth, conceived and created entirely spontaneously, in which energy takes form on a flat surface. It has been exhibited at Galeria Galateia and ArtRio 2025.
