She holds a master’s degree in visual poetics from ECA-USP and a bachelor’s degree in communication and the arts of the body from PUC-SP. She works with dance dramaturgy and performs in various processes. In 2014, she co-founded É selo de língua, through which she produces, edits, and publishes alongside Gustavo Galo. In 2025, she participated in the Brazilian version of John Giorno’s work Dial-A-Poem.
For each full moon, a pair of haikus. Luas (2019) emerged from this idea, which was realized by Gustavo Galo and Júlia Rocha over the course of a year. From January 2018 to January 2019, on every full moon night, each of them composed a haiku. The experience resulted in 24 poems gathered in the book Luas.
The book was printed using manual typography at Grafatório in Londrina, and every copy was hand-bound, one by one.
