amorí (1995) is an artist from the Zona da Mata Sul region of Pernambuco, and has lived in Recife for the past twelve years. With a transdisciplinary practice, their research explores the incessant repetition of forms that traverse landscapes of memory and dreamlike fictional universes. The works are created using latex, iron, ceramics, and various residual materials.
through the night (2025) is part of a series that brings together paintings, sculptures, and installations made with wood, iron, latex, and pitch. The shapes and images stem from childhood memories of the rural area of Ribeirão (PE), a region marked by the monoculture of sugarcane. Between symbols of the rural landscape and references to the sky and cosmos, the works build a territory between remembrance, matter, and imagination.
