Felipe Barsuglia (1989) works across painting, video, installation, and anything else that makes sense—or not. Papa Tudo (2024) references a 1990s título de capitalização (a Brazilian financial product that combines programmed savings, with participation in cash prize draws, and a guaranteed redemption of the accumulated amount by the end), which had this name and was endorsed by celebrity singer and TV host Xuxa as well as TV host César Filho. The work was featured in Plin Plin, the artist’s solo exhibition held at Projeto Vênus, São Paulo, in 2024.
